Hey, I’m Elise. I present myself in this letter, I will explain my hobbies, my travels and my fights. I describe myself, I present to you my personality (according to my friends).I'm a determined and dedicated girl. I’m nice, generous, frank, pleasant. I’m easy-going, we can talk about everythings with me. I’m attentive. I take care of those around me. I do not give up. I'm hard-working and sociable. I love learning new things especially language and culture as well as traveling. I’m always here when someone like a friend needs me. I’m extremely supportive and wish the best for everyone. I'm a brave, considerate, genuine, understanding and trustworthy teenager. Here is a presentation of my family : my dad, my mom and my little sister. I am very close to my sister. I tell her everything and we spend a lot of time together. My family is very important in my life. They are always there when I need them. We have rituals, for example every friday dinner we eat a big apéro ( it’s a specialty in France, for example, there are toasts … ) and after we watch a movie. It’s important because we can talk about some things we did or happened in the week. So we spend a lot of time together. I have few hobbies. First, I do horse riding. I have done it since I was 7 years old. I love horses and understand them. They have a sensibility that we don’t have, they feel our emotions when we are near them. This animal impresses me. Secondly, I am a big reader, especially romance. Reading allows us to be in another universe and to live across the pages of another history with different characters. Reading allows us to feel some emotions like sadness, happiness and surprise. I spend most of my time in my books. My favorite place to read is on the beach when it’s hot and also try to tan. Finally, I love to spend time with my friends. I do a lot of activities with them like going to the city and shopping. I love to travel, learn English and the culture of different countries. In April 2022, I traveled around the world with my family for 10 months. I went to the USA, South America, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand and Cambodia. One of my favorite countries is the United States because when I was there the people were very nice and open to conversation. And I want to know and dih, I took the English option in my school. In school, I always have good grades and I have a good attitude. I love to learn new things so school allows me to do that. My favorite classes are : scover American culture and to meet new people. During and after my travel, I became aware that English is really important, to communicate with local people, to learn a new culture and later for work. These travels allowed me to have an open-mindedness about the world When I got back, I did a language study holiday in London for two weeks. These vacations allowed me to discover London and the English culture and improve my knowledge. After that, to discover more about culture and to progress in Englis history because I love to learn what happened in the past to not do the same mistakes that ancestors made. mathematics because I love to do equations and play with numbers, learn the rules and solve problems. English and Spanish because I love the language and I love discovering new cultures. I would like to do this exchange because : My first goal of my exchange is to become fluent in English because as I already said it’s very important to discuss and share with local people. I would like to discover more about American culture because when I went to the United States, I liked the culture, I saw it but I want to discover and learn more. I would like to meet new people, to have American friends. In this exchange, I would like for exemple to visit surrounding cities.I would like to support the football team, basketball team or other sports team in my American school. I would like to watch a basketball or a football game ( and to learn the rules ). I would like to do activities that are important to you. I’m open to different activities that you enjoy. I have many fights. I fight for the equality between men and women, I fight against racism. These causes are really important to me because we are exposed every day each of us.
