Dear host family My name's Olivia and I'm from France I'm tall, blonde and thin. I'm a serious, responsible and independent student, and I'm also organized. I live in a house in the country with my mom Sandra and my big sister Julianne who's 19 we do lots of activities together. I love cooking and trying out new recipes, especially sweet ones. I also love traveling in France and abroad, discovering new cultures and landscapes. I also enjoy discovering museums of all kinds, as well as fashion and make-up. I like to do sport, swimming, cycling and especially dance, which is my passion. I do modern jazz and contemporary dance 3h30 a week. At the end of the year, I perform in shows, which is my favorite part of dance. And I'd really like to do dance or cheerleading during my exchange years. I've been learning English, Spanish and Italian at school since last year. In fact, in November I'm going to spend a month in Italy with a pen pal in Naples, to learn the language and live like an Italian teenager for the time being, and she's also coming to stay with me for a month in September. For me, it's a foretaste of my year in the United States. I've already been to the U.S. in 2022 in New York and I loved the city and life there, the people were incredibly kind. I have a dream of maybe working there one day, but in the meantime I'm going to start by living there for a year. I can't wait to experience American life and go to school there and discover your traditions like Thanksgiving Halloween Christmas... and discover American culture.
