Dear host family, thank you for participating in the exchange program! My name is Luisa and I live in Germany. In my free time I love doing gymnastics. Gymnastics is incredibly fun for me and gives me the opportunity to test my limits. In addition to gymnastics, I am a huge animal lover. I have a dog that is very important to me. Since I have one myself, I wouldn't mind having a dog in America. In my free time, I also enjoy going into the city with friends, for example to shop and eat. On the other hand, I also really like spending time with my family, like playing games in the evening. But what I like most is spending time with my aunt. When I'm with her we usually go shopping or bake something together. I'm really excited about my year abroad. I'm really looking forward to experiencing this exciting time. I'm really looking forward to high school because I've been told from series, films and stories that the school system there is completely different and that many new subjects are waiting for me. But what I'm most looking forward to is the host family because it gives me the opportunity to experience a slightly different everyday life. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of new people, discover other cultures and have unforgettable experiences.
