Dear Host family,
Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family.
I'm a Dutch girl who loves to travel around the world and see a lot of other countries and be able to learn about different cultures, including America. To me an exchange year to America is the perfect way to make this come true, because I have always wanted to go to an American highschool.
I love to read. I am also very active. I Have been doing Gymnastics for more than eight years. I began when I was six years old. Recently I started playing tennis. I hope I can do gymnastics or tennis when I'm in America, but I think it would also be fun to try new things. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, most of the time we go out to eat, or we go shopping.
I am a very outgoing, creative and fun person. I am also very flexible. I like to explore new things and learn more about different cultures, including America.
My mom is QHSE manager. She is interested in reading and likes to play games. My dad works in logistics. He takes care of global transport for big chemical companies. He is interested in tennis and other sports. I also have a sister who is eighteen. I have a really good bond with my family and I hope I could be a part of your family as well.
My future career goals are to help people. I want to achieve this by studying psychology. I think that going to America will help me to make new experiences which can help me develop as a teenager and later in life. I want to be a therapist or I want to be a psychiatrist. I am open to new experiences which will help me make my future choices and my career.
Kind regards,
Lizz
