Dear Host Family, My name is Felix, and I am eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to spend a year with you in America. This journey represents a unique chance for me to dive deep into your culture, learn how life is on the other side of the world, and enhance my English skills. I bring with me a great passion for adventure and outdoor activities. Roller coasters, wakeboarding, mountain biking, and skiing are among my favorite hobbies. It would be fantastic if we could share some of these activities together, especially visiting an amusement park, if that’s something you also enjoy. About me, I can say that I have a quite open and extroverted personality. I like to speak up about what's on my heart and am always eager to make new experiences and learn more about the people around me – like you, my future host family. A small note on my eating habits: unfortunately, milk in the morning doesn't agree with me, but that's about all I need to watch out for. Otherwise, I'm very easy-going when it comes to food. I also don’t want to withhold that I hold a special role in my school: as a Prefect, I offer support to younger students and our teachers. I take on this task with great joy and commitment because I value helping others and taking responsibility. I know I can be a bit annoying at times, like probably every teenager, but I always strive to integrate well into family life and consider the needs of others. I am very excited to learn all about your family and your way of life and hope that we will have a wonderful time together.
