Hello host family ! I’m Julie ! I’m ready to discover the American culture !!! I really want to improve my English and discover the people, the country, and the life in the United States ! I live with my mother, my father and my big brother, but the week, when I’m at school I sleep at the boarding school. I had a cat since my birth. I love cats and dogs, they are so cute. my friends describe me as a smily and a happy person ( I’m a good audience, i laugh at every thing haha ) but sometimes, I can be in the bad mood. I’m kind and generous with the people I love. I’m also shy at the first time but when I know better the person it’s fine ( sometimes it’s just a question of 6 minutes haha). I’m a little bit messy and lazy but I do my best for remove these default. Différents things about me : -I like hanging out with my friends, to do something special like a sleepovers or sometimes just for see them, I also like film my daily life with them and make vlogs. -I’m interesting about formula one, it’s my favorites hobby. I watch every grand prix. My top 3 favorites teams is Ferrari in first, Mclaren in second and Mercedes in third. My three favorites drivers are Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc ( I can’t rank them, it’s too hard …). -I love music, especially go to music concerts, one of my dreams is to go to Bruno mars’ concert. -I like reading, it’s my third hobby after formula one and music concert. I read a lot of romantic books ( in fact, I only read that haha). I can’t chose one favorite book it’s too difficult for me … -I also like watching movies and series. My favorite serie is Desperate Housewives. -I enjoy traveling, discovering new cultures, new landscapes, new languages and meet new people. I have already gone to Italia, Spain, Netherlands, Cyprus and Malta. - I enjoy skiing too. Every year I go in vacations in the mountains for a ski week. -When I was younger I did 5 years of gymnastics in competition I really enjoyed this but I had to stop when I went to the boarding school. It could be a good starting point to become cheerleader :). -I’m scared of spiders, when I see them I scream, I cry and I call my dad to put it outside. 4 years ago, I saw some people did an exchange year in the United States on the social media, I followed their adventure and I found this amazing. I said to myself « I wanna do that too ». Even if the American high school is not like in the movie I have a lot of reason to go. First of all, I want to do an exchange year to live “the American dream”, to discover a new culture, a new country, a new life. But also to grow up, to take in maturity and obviously to improve my english. It’s been my dream to do an exchange year in the USA for 4 years and I’m finally getting started.
