Community service is a great way for our students to learn and grow while in the U.S. during their program. It gives them the opportunity to give back to their host community, get involved with fun projects, meet new people, and discover things they may not have known about themselves. Already this year, we've heard so many stories of students volunteering and what a great and fulfilling experience it was!
Every year, Ayusa sponsors a special contest for our students currently on program who have dedicated a significant amount of their time in the U.S. to community service projects!
If you are a current Ayusa student and have gone above and beyond in giving back to your American host community, we encourage you to enter our 2016 Community Service Contest (CSC)!
To enter the contest, fill out the application and have an adult who supervised or worked with you during a community service event fill out the recommendation form. All community service hours throughout the program year can count towards this contest.

Our judging panel will review all CSC entries. The three most impressive and impactful entries will earn the winners a free BELO tour of their choice!
All entries must be postmarked or emailed to contests@ayusa.org by February 8, 2015 and must contain the completed application and recommendation form. We also highly encourage you to include photos, newspaper clippings, or anything else that will demonstrate your community service efforts and help you stand out from the rest!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your Community Representative or email contests@ayusa.org.
All entries can be sent to:
