“On the 13th anniversary of the tragic September 11th attacks, my U.S. history teacher asked if I would like to give my perspective on the attack and the effects they had on my country. In the process of discussing this, I became a little emotional, as anyone would, and one of the girls in my class came up to me, gave me a hug and said, "Eman, we are so glad to have you here with us!"
